Behind the Veil

I can feel where you are
Laughing behind the veil
Brewing up plans
To unfold chaos and
Break the peace when
I have to leave

Those eyes of malice
I had once seen
Threatening to ruin all
The twinkle it bore
Showed that here was one

Heart filled with hate
Never heard of love
Only quest of yours
The burning desire
Power and more power
Corrupting at your will

People fooled and few aware
Of what’s all around

Free the people I will

I build with love and truth
A fence to keep you out
